This class of insurance indemnifies the insured against liability from accidents, occurring during the period of indemnity as follows:-

A. All sums which the insured shall become legally liable to pay for compensation in respect of accidental death or bodily injury including illness of any third person or accidental damage to third party property.

B. All costs and expenses of litigation recovered by any claimant against the insured.

C. Any costs and expenses of litigation incurred with the written consent of the Company.

There are also several extensive clauses applicable to this class of insurance which are incorporated in the policy depending on the insured's requirement such as work away risks, load and unloading goods in trust, outside catering, indemnity to executives and employees, temporary visits overseas, first aid facilities, employees effects, guests effects, sports/social clubs, food and drink poisoning, fire and explosion, car park and private dwellings clauses.
