This class of insurance indemnifies the insured against loss of money (as defined in the policy) arising in transit or on the premises, at sites of contracts or as specified in the schedule or endorsed in the policy. It covers loss of cash including foreign currency.

Transit cover applies to transit to and form the bank, to and from the clients premises or from one insured’s premises to another.

Cover for money in business premises relates to money in premises during business hours, money in premises outside business hours, money at the insured’s sites of contracts during business hours and money in locked safe or strongroom on the premises outside business hours.

This policy can also be extended to cover money in the custody of directors or senior manager as per the insured’s specifications.
