The policy is recommended for Contractors who undertake various types of Construction works. The cover provided is basically to indemnify the Insured (Contractor) in respect of Loss, Damage or Liability directly or indirectly caused by or arising out of the perils covered subject to the term, exclusion, provision and conditions contained therein or endorsed thereon.

The items normally covered are:

i) Contract Price
ii) Materials or items supplied by the principals
iii) Construction Plant Equipment and Machinery
iv) Clearance of Debris.

The cover is also extended to cover Third Party Liability in respect of Bodily Injury and Property Damage.

The policy period is normally the full contract period and a further Six, Twelve Months or as may be agreed to cover Maintenance Period.
